Transcriptome analysis of soybean leaves response to manganese toxicity

As an essential micronutrient, manganese (Mn) participates in diverse processes during plant growth and development. Excess accumulation of Mn plants is toxic, soybean (Glycine max) production are severely limited by toxicity. However, the molecular basis adaptation to toxicity for remains largely unknown. In this study, RNA-seq analysis on leaves was conducted, more than 44 million reads were generated, a total 38,022 expressed genes identified. Compared control, 2258 differentially (DEGs), including 744 up-regulated 1514 down-regulated ones, obtained. Cellular process, cell part binding function most enriched terms GO analysis. Furthermore, 49 DEGs identified hormone signal transduction pathways KEGG Among them, AHK, PIF, JAZ TGA family might play important roles toxicity.Supplemental data article available online at https://doi.org/10.1080/13102818.2021.1950566 .
